Forgive
Todays post from a book I have called Better Than Chocolate - 50 Proven ways to feel Happier (purchase it here), by Siimon Reynolds.
Every great religion preaches the virtues of genuine forgiveness as a path to happiness. It's easy to see why. Failing to forgive someone eats away at our heart, filing us with anger, envy or hatred every time we think of that person - hardly a recipe for happiness.
If you are serious about being consistently happy, there is only one thing to do: call or write to the person in question and let them know you have decided to forgive them. If you do this genuinely, you will feel a huge weight lifted off your shoulders. If they have passed away, write them a letter anyway. Your act of forgiveness will heal and uplift you regardless.

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15
Forgiving is HUGE. Good post!
