No Erin you don't win....Change Focus
As always: Todays post from a book I have called Better Than Chocolate - 50 Proven ways to feel Happier (purchase it here), by Siimon Reynolds.
Popularized by high-performance coach Anthony Robbins, the Focus Control Method of happiness shows quick and powerful results. Robbins argues that we are happy or unhappy largely because of what we focus on. By consciously choosing to focus on what is going well in our life, rather than what may be going poorly, we tend to remain in a buoyant mood.
It's simple to do. Just make a list of five things going well in your life and remind yourself of them several times throughout the day. within a few days, you'll find your perceptions of the quality of your life will change for the better.

You suck.
Did you know that I once Saw Tony Robbins? Jerms and I went. We walked over 12 feet of hot coals!
Crazy, huh?
but you suck isn't very positive now is it Erin??
I love it when I win !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made a habit of "being thankful" when I turned off the water in the shower. I'm not sure how it started then, but every day, that was my reminder. I did that for a while, now I don't remember how I stopped doing that!
Prayers before bedtime work too! Even if it's just "thank you for x,y, & z". Prayers are more than just a wishlist, it's a time to give thanks.
