TV Critique: Lost
I am not a writing critic but I can certainly be critical - and tonight I will be directing that to a several TV shows. Not the least of which is Lost.
Tomorrow night promises to be my very last night of watching Lost. There was just a commercial on that was advertising that this week we will learn the secret behind why all of the people are there and one secret that will "BLOW OUR MINDS". Seriously - if they don't produce that kind of action this week I am done. But even if they do I have to take the following into consideration - their stories are thick like MUD!
Last weeks episode was a let down and did nothing to move the storyline along like they were able to do in season one. Can anyone tell me what the hell the episode was really about. Not to mention the fact that new people were introduced with any introduction and in the third episode of this season we still haven't recieved any resolution on items that were opened up on episode one. So every week we get a wee bit of information about SOME of the characters and never any resolutoin on any of them. They would do well to take some advice from the soap opera model where each episode you got some information about each storyline - enough to move it along a bit. Instead we are getting dragged through the mud backwardsin cold weather.
Will I be watching next week???? Doubtful but if they come through with a big explosive secret tommorow night and my blood gets pumping then yes.
