here are some pictures I took yesterday outside of both my dog and the scenery - it was a cold december day.
I also got some new ones of my nieces Strawberry Shortcake doll.....
christmas has been a madhouse - just the way it should be! I am in the process of installing and trying out my external DVD burner right now! Not a moment too soon either because my pictures are taking up way to much room on my hard drive.
I also went PRO at Flickr - you can see my christmas pics on Flickr here:
last night I Had a dream that I woke up and the rain they predicted for this weekend acutally turned out to be snow... well dreams don't always come true and this christmas eve eve is rainy and sad. my plan was to stick close to home today, do some home type things (laundry, cleaning, etc) but its always nicer to do that when you see sun outside. So I am following my plan - doing laundry and workign on my adobe illustrator skills. I have posted below a sketch of a girl I drew quickly and then used as a basis for my photos shop learning. She is not that good but she was helpful in my pen tool practice. I am about to put in the china girl I drew and work on her. Hailey had on her list a picture of a china girl for christmas so if I can get it right I am going to print it out and frame it up for her.
Christmas is supposed to be cold and snowy and thanks in part to global warming this christmas is going to be warm and rainy. If wanted Christmas's like this I would live in the south or the pacific northwest.

Katie Couric doesn't care what you think:
This didn't make me sad until the end
I mourn for the poor - but these people are not the exception they are turning into the rule and it hard to be people to be motivated to help them when they won't help themselves.
Hailey had her rehersal for her first christmas pagent today - so cute! She didn't know the words to the music they were singing (none of the younger kids did) but she held her sheet of music(it was printed on both sides) and when there was a break in the music she asked what side they were on - IT WAS SO CUTE I ALMOST DIED!
here is one pic - they are all on flickr here:
