If you are handed it, you can handle it.

I bought this small pot of lawn grass at the florist for $6 and I can't tell you how happy it has made me!! It has great texture and during the day I will reach over and put my fingers in it!!

Aspirational Clutter: This excerpt from this post is why I am giving you my craft stuff

I am planning on giving Alison all of my former craft supplies and tools. I don't use them and she asked me why I was giving it all away. I guess because I know she will use them more/at all and because every time I go to the basement I look at how all that stuff is just sitting there waiting for someone to create with it!

Crafting was my creative outlet and one thing I know for sure is that I need a creative outlet. I have tried many things over the years and I think I have finally settled on photography - not only is it a hobby but it is a business. Not only is it creative but its technical which I love...
so I am giving my stuff to Alison... save for a few pieces that I still use on a regular basis to create some stuff of my own:)

I think this post sums up best why I am giving it away. My stuff is aspirational and I am a minimalist, and I just think people in this world would do better focusing less on stuff and more on what they love:

We don’t want to admit that we’re not making time to read, so we save them. The treadmill is another object that is loaded because if you throw it out you’re admitting to yourself that you’re never going to use it. Keeping it, even unused, maintains your dream of getting into shape.

Crafting is fun and I love it but I aspire to do it more than I am doing it. Sure, when I lived in Haverhill I did it all the time, I had a nice room for it and it was a hobby that I could afford and it was a great creative outlet for me.

But now I live in Scarborough and space is at a premium and photography is my creative outlet (and where I put my money) so crafting has become something I would love to do if I could just figure out what arrangement to take in order to make it more accessible to me. When in reality if I loved it/had more of a passion for it I would remove other things in my house to make room for that. But I don't, but I center my plans around my photography business and that tells me what is where I should be.

I think the farmers almanac is a hoax

I have long thought that the farmers almanac is a hoax.. And now I am
starting to have proof! I my earlier post
I listed out
the predictions for March! As you can see they are calling for snow and
cold from the 4th -7th... then today I went and they are now listing
RAIN and cold for the 4th-7th... is that because our current prediction
calls for RAIN and not snow. I think its all a big lie...so today I
took a screen shot of the site on March 4th... then I am going to take
another one at the end of the month and proof - at least to myself -
that it's a big hoax!

Sick
