this is the last of the ice on my garage... forecast for the rest of the week is nice - here's hoping its all gone by this time next week!
Earlier I posted the Farmers Almanacs predictions for March, they were as follows:
March 2008
Avg. Temperature: 35° (2° above avg.)
Precipitation: 2.5" (0.5" below avg.)
Mar. 1-3: Flurries, seasonable
Mar. 4-7: Snowstorm, cold
Mar. 8-10: Sunny, cold
Mar. 11-15: Rain and snow, seasonable
Mar. 16-19: Sunny, turning warm
Mar. 20-27: Rain, then sunny, warm
Mar. 28-31: Rain and snow showers
As you can see they predicted SUNNY and COLD for this weekend! That was information taken from the Farmers Almanac site on February 29th! Today I went out to the same place on the FA site: and these are their predictions for March 2008
MARCH 2008
Temperature 46.5° (2° above avg. north, 5° above south)
Precipitation 2.5" (1" below avg. north, 2" below south)
Mar 1-3: Sunny, mild
Mar 4-7: Rain, cool
Mar 8-12: Showers
Mar 13-17: Rain and snow, then sunny, cool
Mar 18-22: Scattered t-storms, warm
Mar 23-26: Sunny, mild
Mar 27-31: Very warm, then t-storms.
As you can see their is a discrpency between what they had posted earlier and what htey have for today - maybe that is because the local weather forecast is predicting rain and they changed their site!!! Liars!!!
This is what the farmers almanac is predicting for March - i am so over the snow!! If they are right then by the 11th we might be starting to thaw out a bit!
